NSU offers 50+ academic programs, 41 undergrad majors, 10 grad majors, 55 minors, 6 associate, 15 pre-professionals.

Athletics

Northern State University's athletic teams boast a long and proud tradition of competition in the Upper Midwest. Northern State University sponsors 15 intercollegiate sports; seven for men and eight for women.

The Aberdeen community and surrounding areas love and support athletics. NSU consistently leads the conference in attendance at football and both men's and women's basketball games. The NSU men's and women's basketball teams are mainstays in the Division II Top 10 attendance list, and have led the nation in attendance for nearly a decade.


Wolves Club

Founded in 1978, the Wolves Club is a dedicated group of athletic fans who volunteer their time and talent to promote Northern Athletics. Wolves Club members play a vital role in the success of NSU's athletic programs.

The Wolves Club provides revenue for scholarships, recruiting, operating support, and other program enhancements. The Wolves Club's mission is simple: to promote the advancement of NSU athletics through volunteerism and financial commitments.

Northern State University's School of Fine Arts is committed to developing and supporting the personal creative expression of each and every student, as well as providing the highest quality professional instruction in the arts.

Annual Fund


The Annual Fund is a powerful source of unrestricted funding that is critical to the continued success of NSU. Gifts to the Annual Fund have an immediate impact on today's students, faculty and the university overall.

WolfPACT


The WolfPACT Scholarship is one of the most generous and far-reaching four-year scholarships in the region. The WolfPACT Scholarship is available for all first-time freshmen and is based on GPA and ACT or SAT scores. The WolfPACT Scholarship assists students in offsetting the cost of tuition.
